Monday Moaning

It's Monday. Ahhhhh! Back to school or work we go, right? Here's a little show and tell from the weekend:

I reached and surpassed 6,000 words on The Disorderlies. I don't want to say too much about this project, not wanting to give away the plot yet or anything, but I've figured a few things out about a supporting character. There are going to be some (hopefully) interesting twists and turns!

I got up to 15% through The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins. It's a little slow going, seeing as the first person narrator is a fussy old(er) man, but it has a nice atmosphere to it. Methinks the action is just about to pick up, and when it does, I don't know what's going to happen!

I went to BAM, where I couldn't find a single book I was looking for. Grr. The rest of what I did would be of no interest to anyone, myself included.

What did YOU do this weekend?

  1. I was at OddCon all weekend -- had a fantastic time and came home completely exhausted. :)

  2. I'm curious to know what exactly happens at a con. If I can find my courage--and some time away from my home/city--I think I'd like to go to one :)

  3. Cons can be a LOT of fun. Even big scary ones. :)

  4. I think there might be some one in Cleveland this fall. I'll have to look into it :)
